LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Eight men are charged in what Louisville police say were attempts to lure girls and boys for sex.
The Courier-Journal reports 1 of the men is a worker at a children's home and another worked for the public school system.
Each suspect faces state and federal charges concerning solicitation of minors via the Internet.
Among those arrested is Austin Smith, who is now suspended from his job as a youth counselor at Bellewood Presbyterian Home, and Brad Williams, who delivered testing materials to Jefferson County schools.
Also charged are Nicholas Hancock, Jeffery Hackworth, Andrew Radwell, Timothy Love, Charles Hicks and James Tischendorf.
Police Maj. Joe Richardson said police posed as young people on the Internet and the suspects began contacting them.
