MAYSVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Students at Mason County Area Technology Center have installed a wind generator.

Instructor Dave Collins told The Ledger Independent that students in his electrical technology class were responsible for the entire project, which took about two years to complete. The paper reports it is the second wind generator to be erected at a Kentucky area technology center.

Collins said the generator will help the Maysville school save on its utility bill.
