More people from Kentuckiana are taking advantage of H1N1 clinics. A walk-in clinic was held Saturday in New Albany, Indiana at the Mount Tabor School. The clinic was for those six months to 49-years-old with chronic health problems. Pregnant women who are not already scheduled to receive the H1N1 vaccine from their OB/GYN were also a priority.

"The turnout is pretty fair, we have a lot of people getting immunizations today. We've done over 250 so far and we're looking for about 500 total for today. We've been able to give out over 150 shots an hour, so we're caught up with the influx there," said Dr. Tom Harris, Floyd County Health Department.

Dr. Harris says the supply of vaccine is still lagging behind. Once the supply issues are solved there will be less standing in long lines, and more clinics where people can rapidly get their vaccine.
