Two people are behind bars after an altercation that left a man dead at an Elizabethtown home.  21-year-old Michael McQuire and 26-year-old Stephen Salisbury are both facing charges of burglary and assault.

Police say the men admitted going to the home in the Ponderosa Mobile Home Park early Tuesday morning.  23-year-old Robert Tarafa, the homeowner, used a pocket knife to stab an alleged intruder.

26-year-old Sixfrido Mendez was taken to the hospital, where he died.  McQuire and Salisbury remain behind bars at the Hardin County Detention Center.
