You can give the gift of warmth this holiday season. LG&E and Kentucky Utilities are offering utility certificates.
A Home Utility Gift, or HUG, credits the utility account of any LG&E or KU customer. Unlike a regular gift certificate, the credit is automatically subtracted from the customer's next bill. HUGS can also be purchased for non-profit and social service organizations to help them manage expenses throughout the year.
The certificates are available during normal business hours at all customer service walk-in centers. You must bring the address of the HUG recipient.
