New traffic light expected to reduce crashes

A new traffic light at a Louisville intersection may confuse some drivers -- that's because it has four lights.

It has the usual green, yellow and red, but includes a flashing yellow arrow that lets drivers know they can turn, but must yield to oncoming traffic.

This is the first traffic light of its kind in the entire state.  Transportation officials say studies have shown this type of signal helps reduce crashes at intersections.
